¡Hola! I'm Irene Fernández
I'm a Designer, illustrator, and cosplayer with a love for bold style and anything theatrical! Creator of this project and currently based in Brooklyn, NYC.
Poesía Boricua (Puerto Rican Poetry) is a celebration of my Puerto Rican roots through reggaeton lyrics and Latin American slang, while mixing in other themes I absolutely love, like drag, anime, and anything geeky or theatrical.
It is also a tribute to all the translations I've had to make for my Chicano partner and other Latine friends. We are all fluent Spanish speakers, but our beautiful cultural differences have diversified the language in fun ways. And I'm 100% fluid in Puerto Rican 😉 I hope you enjoy the project and feel inspired to take a slice of it home.

¡Besitos y Perreito Siempre! 💖
